L’OGAE Second Chance a \u00e9t\u00e9 organis\u00e9 pour la premi\u00e8re fois en 1987 et c’est la 39e fois qu’il a lieu cette ann\u00e9e. \u00c0 l’\u00e9poque, seuls quatre pays participaient au concours : les Pays-Bas, la Norv\u00e8ge, le Royaume-Uni et la Su\u00e8de. Cette ann\u00e9e, l’OGAE Italie a \u00e9t\u00e9 autoris\u00e9e \u00e0 organiser le concours apr\u00e8s la victoire d’Annalisa l’ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re. 25 pays ont particip\u00e9, dont la Belgique avec Mentissa et \u00ab\u00a0D\u00e9sol\u00e9e\u00a0\u00bb. Elle a termin\u00e9 troisi\u00e8me \u00e0 l’Eurosong 2025 et a donc obtenu une seconde chance.

Les membres des clubs participants ainsi qu’un guest jury d\u00e9cideront du gagnant. Le guest jury est compos\u00e9 des clubs dont le diffuseur national n’a pas organis\u00e9 de finale mais a d\u00e9sign\u00e9 directement son candidat au Concours Eurovision de la chanson.
